Rolling Stone 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time - Stewart Copeland

This post brings me to Stewart Copeland - listed at #10 on Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time.

Drummer for The Police.  The Police reunion.  Soundtrack composer.  Video game soundtrack composer.  Point of intrigue - Stewart Copeland played the drums for Peter Gabriel's album, So.

(A detailed background about Stewart Copeland can be found on Wikipedia.)

Accomplishments -
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Police (2003)
Inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame (2005)
Inducted into the Classic Drummer Hall of Fame (2013)

My take away -
Stewart Copeland is well-established in the music industry in more than one way.  His projects away from The Police are intriguing and impressive.  Hall of Fame inductions are well deserved.  Stewart Copeland's #10 position in Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time is an honor.
