FIMI Diamond

In the United States music industry (RIAA), Diamond status is the most coveted and not entirely simple to achieve as the base requisite is 10,000,000 in sales.  In Japan (RIAJ), Multi-Million is Diamond equivalent and the base requisite is 2,000,000 in sales.

In this post, somewhere in between is Diamond status as deemed by FIMI - Italian Music Industry Federation in English translation.

Note - Diamond certification requires 500,000 sales.

The list below is reflective of changes made in 2011.  Diamond certification at that time required 300,000 in sales.
