Spice Girls - Wannabe

The Spice Girls...20th Century pop culture icons known always for their unique "spice titles" - Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B ("Scary Spice"), Melanie Chisholm a.k.a Mel C ("Sporty Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Geri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), and Victoria Beckham ("Posh Spice").

The Spice Girls formed in 1994 and released "Wannabe" as their debut single in 1996.   Global success was set.

In my opinion, the Spice Girls were best appealing to younger audiences - especially teenagers and young adults intrigued by a new wave in pop music.  The same would have been said about the Beatles, so I suppose "Spicemania" was an appropriate label.

The Spice Girls truly are one to consider in the music industry.
