Fashmates Special

In 2020, Wednesdays featured a John Taylor Limited Edition series and Roger Taylor detailed favorite musicians with specific songs.

In early 2021, I honored the transfer of presidential power in song.

And now I am changing pace on Set List with fashion specials as a Wednesday theme.

In this launch edition, I am sharing Fashmates.

Fashmates is an intriguing online platform described as a social styling source that also offers a shopping experience.  There are three levels of status - Style Spotter, Style Setter, and Style Icon.  All are based on the number of sets created and published.  I am a Style Icon with well over the requisite 125 sets.  If stylists - as all are known by - go pro, they are in an official entrepreneural business.  Pro and Pro+ are at the highest level beyond Style Icon.  Pro and Pro+ stylists earn commission on anything purchased in their sets.  The catch, though, is monthly payment to maintain such ultimate status.  I once was a Pro Stylist but that is an entirely different story I am not up for sharing now and perhaps at all.

Fashmates, at its core, is all about creative expression from women's fashion to men's fashion to home fashion and even children's fashion.  Designers to choose from are endless and filled with possibilities to use when styling.  Google Image Search is a separate feature that delves deeper into what Fashmates already offers...An awesome tool to enhance the stylist experience.

Fashmates is also a global community to like fellow sets, comment on favorite sets, take on contests with a trophy prize if won, and at times send messages.  Unique friendships grow and sometimes extend beyond Fashmates...as in onto social media.

Overall, I adore Fashmates because of sharing my personal interests, keeping up with new friends, creating an ongoing portfolio, and listing my title on my resume.
