In the launch edition of Arts & Entertainment Cover, stars in the golden age of Hollywood danced in seamless time to 21st Century "Uptown Funk" music. The experience is intriguing as if the song actually aired in the early 20th Century.
Fast forward to the song actually airing in live performances, music video production, and the inspiration for flash dance mobs seeing who can impress the most.
For example, consider the cast of "The Big Bang Theory" tapping into a lively groove.
In this edition of Set List Sunday Favorite, my personal favorite is:
Weekly's Best - Special Edition
As a refresher, the post featured sample signature model acoustic guitars backed by names such as Johnny Cash, Slash, Eric Clapton, Jeff Bridges, Garth Brooks, and Elvis Presley.
The special edition was meant to highlight zZounds as an affiliate noted long ago and the acoustic guitar used in the concluding series scenes of "Friends" and "The Big Bang Theory."
In this way, Set List was just about music...the defining reason for the blog.
Therefore, my Set List Sunday Favorite is a special edition bringing a music website back to where it started - music.
Always,
Play it!
In the launch edition of Fashmuse Saturday, I split the one word into two so the grammar would make sense - Fashmuse into fashion and music.
In this edition of Fashmuse Saturday, I am featuring mystic jewels and mysterious ways.

"Rolling in the Deep" by Adele was the best-performing single in 2011, reaching No. 1 on Billboard Year End Hot 100.
21 by Adele was off and on the No. 1 album on Billboard 200 and sold 5 million copies.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adele was named Top Pop Artist of 2011.
Adele clearly defined 2011 (and to date). The only other artist I would include in this post is Sting and his romantic ballad "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You."

And so it goes -
The End
In the world of Hollywood, there is nothing more heartbreaking than watching a favorite television cast come to an end. Tears from the final scene to tears from the final table reading. Tears from fans. Sitcoms have to end at some point but knowing the program is over and the half hour slot is void of what was is still difficult to accept. Always know, though, reruns leave a show going long after the end.

Last Table Reading
In the launch edition of Two for Two, I featured two songs by Adele that I have downloaded to my personal iTunes library.
In this edition of Two for Two, I am featuring Coldplay and the songs "Clocks" and "Speed of Sound."
In the launch edition of Arts & Entertainment Cover, I featured the golden age of Hollywood dancing in time to "Uptown Funk." The seamless choreography truly was impressive between then and now.
In this post, the cast of "Friends" is covering the sitcom's theme song. The song itself takes fans down memory lane. The cast ride along is lasting in the hearts of so many.
As broadcast on Entertainment Tonight some time ago, six friends define arts & entertainment.
This Set List entry is dedicated to Matthew Perry. Fans near and far will forever miss your humor, timing, and genuine personality. Rest in peace.
In this edition of Weekly's Best, your top favorite is:
As a refresher, I found a video on YouTube airing golden era Hollywood stars dancing seamlessly to "Uptown Funk." Whether black and white or technicolor, the motion matches every lyric and every beat as though the song was played in the moment, in that era.
With that said, do you remember a long time ago on Set List an advertisement with Kia hamsters grooving to "Fort Knox"? The commercial went viral throughout the country and "Fort Knox" was a must to search and download.
Fast forward so many years and a relatively similar theme to before includes cats in human form dancing to disco music and showing off with the product being cat litter. The music in the commercial reminded of "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees.
On this Friday, I thought I would cap off the work week with a disco groove.
Dedicated to Janet Thompson
April 8, 1925 - November 9, 2021
When Hubert passed away, I cannot imagine your grief. He always considered you his wife - that is how close you both were. (This was quite the honor as Givenchy was homosexual.)
On September 14, 2021. God took my best friend away from me. On November 9, 2021, I lost my friend. What did God want from me?
I am now without all grandparents.
Let's cheers things up.
Grammy,
Votre amour de la culture francaise et de la belle langue perdure longtemps apres votre deces. (Your love of French culture and the beautiful language lasts long after your passing.)
Votre passion pour la France est une inspiration pour ma passion pour Paris. Ne serait-ce qu'un jour. (Your passion for France is an inspiration for my passion for Paris. If only someday.)
With that said and in two languages, the number one in 2021 French music is -
In November 2021, the No. 1 song in France was "Le Classico Organise" by the artist of the same name.
In November 2021, the No. 1 album in France was Voyage by ABBA. (Of the many listed, this one stood out the most. Irony - ABBA is a Swedish band and my precious grandma was 100% Swedish. I suppose one grandparental nod to another in this post.)
In November 2021, the No. 1 artist in France was Mylene Farmer. She has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, making her one of the best selling artists in France as well as holding the record for most number one singles in French charts (21 with 8 being consecutive).
As the November Wednesday Freeform theme continues on Set List, I thought I would share my favorite television series, specifically opening lyrics. A tough call because there are so many to choose from in my mind's recall.
When I was a child, as early as 10 years old, one of my favorite television shows was Three's Company. I adored John Ritter and his comedic timing. In fact, one of his inspirations was Lucille Ball - the queen of comedy. (Note - Jack Benny was considered the king of comedy.) John's character's (Jack Tripper) kindness toward Joyce DeWitt's (Janet Wood) character was special and sincere. They were meant to be close friends on and off set. Suzanne Somers' role (Chrissy Snow) fit into typical blonde, gorgeous, and expected to be not quite intellectual.
The early years in the series were my most favorite because everyone was settling into their characters, interacting, and finding the best chemistry. Each actor contributed to the tone of the series in their own way...
...So on Set List, the opening credits set the stage for what would become an iconic program enjoyed to this day.
Welcome to the launch edition of Two for Two on Set List!
In this Tuesday mini series, I am scrolling through my iTunes library to find favorite artists with just two songs downloaded. For example, Adele with "Skyfall" and "Rumour Has It."
Welcome to the launch edition of Arts & Entertainment Cover!
In this November series, I will share an old time Hollywood video of historically iconic performers dancing to modern day songs in seamless timing, as if the two naturally aired together.
Today's entertaining song is "Uptown Funk" as covered through a dance mix of old movies that match the beat exactly.
Every Friday on Set List is devoted to your favorite post from throughout the week. On Sundays though I am noting my personal favorite from throughout the week - my opportunity to share a Set List Sunday favorite.
With that said, my personal favorite from throughout this week is:
From burgeoning demands for gender equality in the 1800s United States to the suffrage movement in the 1900s U.S. to supporting the World War II Allies through factory work in the United States to further women's rights rallies in the 21st Century, the fight continues to shatter the glass ceiling especially financially and socially.
We can vote. We can serve in the military. We can be entrepreneurs. We can rise in the corporate world. We can, more than anything, be bread winners for our families and equal minded with our partners. We can be bread winners for ourselves.
And so the new collections on Cents of Style and Pura Vida and the bold declaration in Shania Twain's song proves proud womanhood - let's go girls...feel like a woman...conquer the outdoors our way.
Madonna's iconic song, "Vogue," empowered women in the 1980s and beyond.
And so to conclude this entry, vogue on Set List.
Welcome to the launch edition of Fashmuse Saturday!
As you can tell, "fashmuse" is not a word but in this Saturday series "fashmuse" breaks down to fashion and music - a simple combo.
Every Saturday in this month of November will feature a theme with fashion and music. For example, this entry will show off girl power through Cents of Style "Let's Go Girls" fashion, "Outdoorsy Gals" jewelry, and a tune by Shania Twain.
Let's make the intro short and sweet to delve into "fashmuse" fun!

Although October is no longer, your top favorite for the week is:
As a farewell to the ultimate spooky month of the year, I thought I would share Duran Duran's latest album, Danse Macabre.
With that said, consider the reimagined version of "Night Boat."
Take Me Out to The Ball Game
...and ended on November 1, 2023 - Game 5...
The Texas Rangers won their first World Series in franchise history. There truly is a first for everything and everyone.
Although I am a Chicago Cubs fan, I will always watch a game for just the love of the game.
As the excitement of Halloween comes to a close and October is checked off the calendar, November launches the holiday season with parades, all out decorations, Thanksgiving, and shopping.
Since there is so much to look forward to this time of year, I thought I would mix things up this month before the annual Set List countdown to Christmas in December.
On this Wednesday, November 1st 2023, I am featuring a favorite film score - Beverly Hills Cop (original in the series).
Every season has just the right movie for each few months. For example, Sixteen Candles leans toward spring, Beverly Hills Cop leans toward summer, The Wizard of Oz leans toward Fall, and A Christmas Story leans toward well...
This morning flirted with the freezing mark in Chicago, so I am going to reminisce the warmth of summer with the one and only.
