Notes - Recognizable voice...Advocate for desegregation following the Little Rock, Arkansas crisis (In this case, three black students were denied access to an all white high school.  Guards and state troops blocked the three students and, sadly, President Eisenhower did nothing to diffuse the crisis.  Louis Armstrong was gaining headway in crossing the racial bridge with his music and leveraged such popularity to convince the White House to do something so all students could receive an education.)
