Hollywood Walk of Fame - A Star Is Born

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is the ultimate destination for actors and actresses cementing their career status into stardom.  Awards, of course, hold great value and honor - Golden Globes, Emmys, Oscars, Grammys, and Tonys.  Peer to peer SAG Awards are always appreciative.  Yet for the world of Hollywood, a star lasts forever.

How does the Hollywood Walk of Fame relate to Set List?  Success in the music industry is defined by so many unique factors with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame being the ultimate and, like a star, lasting forever.  All Hall of Fame inductions are lasting and specific to honor.

Where film entertainment has stars, music has halls.  So how can the two come together?

As with the trio of brothers - the Bee Gees - there is the trio of sisters - the Andrews Sisters.

American trio in the swing era of music

80 million records sold
113 charted Billboard hits ... 46 Top 10
(surpassing Elvis Presley and The Beatles)

The Andrews Sisters were part of the inaugural Vocal Group Hall of Fame class (1998).

The trio's influence on future musicians is long and impressive leading to the present day.

The Andrews Sisters have been in 17 Hollywood films - "more than any other singing group in motion picture history"

The Andrews Sisters' discography, chart records, and filmography are in excess to count line by line.  Their entertainment history, then, is beyond impressive.

The sisters received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1987.
