The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Class of 1991 No. 2

 The Byrds

Inducted by Don Henley

(Wikipedia)

The history of the American rock band, The Byrds, is exceptionally long and detailed.  The irony, though, is that their success and recognition was brief (within the 1960s) and went through a revolving door of members.  In this post, then, I will go straight for The Byrds' due honors.

Original lineup -
Jim McGuinn (lead guitar, vocals)
Gene Clark (tambourine, vocals)
David Crosby (rhythm guitar, vocals)
Chris Hillman (bass guitar, vocals)
Michael Clarke (drums)

The original lineup was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
