Red Carpet Massacre
RCM followed Astronaut fairly quickly, with release in 2007. I suppose fans wanted more and Red Carpet Massacre delivered...wiithout Andy.
I chose to title Red Carpet Massacre iconic because the 2008 concert in Chicago was my first. I got to take in so many songs once only heard on CDs and on the radio.
The concert was a college graduation gift from my mom so in this post, my iconic choice is "The Valley" best enjoyed on record.
In this third post of iconic songs from Duran Duran iconic albums, "Reach Up For The Sunrise" launched the reunion of the original lineup for the recording, release, and tour of Astronaut. "Reach Up For The Sunrise" is best heard live.
In this second post of iconic songs from iconic Duran Duran albums, "Ordinary World" is my personal choice for many reasons but one stands out the most - the song was leaked to radioi stations before The Wedding Album was complete and ready to be released. "Ordinary World" has since been available to enjoy on Set List.

A few years ago, "Uptown Funk" blasted radio waves. The official music video for "Uptown Funk" was a massive hit among viewers. Golden Hollywood cinema matched a dance by iconic 20th century actors to the lyrics...seamless 21st century technology leaving viewers in awe.
On Set List, "Uptown Funk" became a record loop with frequent post appearances. The song is now a background feature for Skippy Peanut Butter and, to my recollection, hair products.
The song, though, will always be at the forefront in pop culture and fan interest.

Where Wednesdays are dedicated to fashion related to music, this post offers the ultimate in music and fashion - "Girl Panic!". In my opinion, the official "Girl Panic!" video ranks beyond "Girls On Film" as a song only. (I will never consider or post the "Girls On Film" official music video.) In the video, I would describe the models as impressive and unique in portraying each Duran Duran member. From iconic in fashion to iconic in music, there is a seamless blend. The luxury of London as the backdrop perfectly compliments the blend.
And so there you have it...Fashion and music in one on Set List.
