Robert Palmer died of a heart attack at the age of 54 in a Paris hotel room.  Although not into any drug scene, he smoked cigarettes far in excess (60 a day, reportedly).

He could sing.  He could perform.  He could record albums and music videos.  He was, yes, quite handsome in a suit and in relaxed wear.

Robert Palmer offered so much to the music industry before his passing and truly could have continued to the present.

He will forever be missed.
