Film Score Loop - Harold Faltermeyer

Last theme on Film Score Loop -

Henry Mancini's composition for the 1963 films, Pink Panther & Charade.  Henry Mancini's signature musical style was ahead of its time, from catchy beat to classical undertone.  Henry Mancini is timeless and placed a profound stamp on film scores beyond 1963.

In this edition of Film Score Loop, I am following in the footsteps of Mancini with a composer, his signature style, creating a new musical element, and defining a decade of experimenting much the way that was done in the 1960s.

His name is Harold Faltermeyer.  He is a German musician, composer, and record producer.

If Harold Faltermeyer does not sound familiar, consider his groundbreaking works in the 1980s that proposed a new musical element utilized beyond Hollywood - synth pop.
