Yamaha is a global corporation with headquarter based in Japan.  Yamaha is best known for manufacturing musical instruments, electronics, and power sports equipment.

Musical instruments include pianos, drums, guitars, brass instruments, woodwinds, violins, violas, and much more.

Point of intrigue -

Yamaha is the world's largest piano manufacturer.

Yamaha products date to the late 1800's - from keyboard instruments in 1897 to harmonicas in 1914 to guitars in 1942 to band instruments in 1965 to drums in 1967...and so much more.

 Side note - My first keyboard was a Yamaha.  I would play Duran Duran songs in the background and match, to the best of my novice abilities, Nick's performance.  There were a few notes I was able to play alongside.  I am nonetheless still a novice.

Brit Awards - Iconic UK Success

Where the United States hosts the Grammy's on a global music stage, the UK hosts the Brit Awards that are on par with "music's biggest night."

RIAA statistics, based on Wikipedia, show that Gold certification is the most common in standing and decreases incrementally with Platinum and Multi-Platinum.  There is a sharp decline by Diamond status.
