Day 51 - Duran Duran Live at GMA 2004

As of January 2021, Friday is dedicated to going live - from concert videos to official music videos with a sense of concert feel.

In this post, I am reminiscing Duran Duran's performance on Good Morning America (GMA) in 2004 when they were on tour for Astronaut.

Although I was not in New York, I still remember watching from home in Chicago - brisk Fall morning warmed with electric excitement over the original line-up reunion.  So much fun whether live or from home.

With that said,

Enjoy Duran Duran live at GMA in 2004.

As always,

Play it!

ShopLook Special

In 2020, Wednesdays featured a John Taylor Limited Edition series and Roger Taylor detailed favorite musicians with specific songs.

I am now, though, changing pace on Set List with fashion specials as a Wednesday theme.

In this edition, I am sharing ShopLook.

ShopLook, like Fashmates, is an online styling platform that offers more than just fashion design.  ShopLook, like Fashmates, is a sincere virtual community where stylists can like, comment, and follow.  Friendships can be formed and last beyond the platform.  ShopLook, like Fashmates, offers challenges with unique themes and if a look wins the challenge, the stylist earns a trophy (a feel good moment).  There are multiple levels of status with the ultimate being a Trendsetter (which I am).

A Trendsetter on ShopLook is achieved by the number of published looks and the number of likes for each look.  Trendsetters, like Style Icons on Fashmates, reach such prestigious status for a reason - dedication, unique and impressive styles, and supreme recogntion.

ShopLook, like Fashmates, offers room for growth but comes with a monthly payment.  ShopLook stylists can pay a premium which then offers premium service.  Fashmates stylists can pay a premium which then offers Pro and Pro+ titles along with commission pay.

There is a bonus to both sources - I note both platforms and titles on my resume.  The experience I have gained has led to self-teaching in every form of fashion and from time to time inspires me to branch out for employment.

For now, I am content with ShopLook...and Fashmates.  I enjoy sharing my passion for fashion on Set List...because my passion for anything music will forever remain on Set List.

With that said,

If you are curious about what I have posted here, follow my ShopLook link.  Explore and enjoy!

Released in 1984

No. 26 on Billboard Hot 100

"The Reflex" featured on -
Decade
Greatest
Strange Behaviour

My last thought -
The "Da Na Na Na" intro best heard live anticipates in somewhat long form an actually really great song.  I will admit, though, that when I saw Duran Duran in 2008, the anticipation went on for some time and I was anxioius to hear the song.  Just my last thought.

Day 48 - Versus Tuesday

 Astronaut2005 Drummer v. Original Musician

On this Day 48 in the First Set List 100, my choice of Versus Tuesday is "The Reflex" by Duran Duran as covered by Astronaut2005 Drumer as well as the original Duran Duran version.
