I am generally not one for heavy metal because the tone is too intense for my interest (which is jazz, pop rock, synth-pop, and classic rock).  With that said, a select few songs from Guns N' Roses have caught my attention as intriguing and worthy to really listen to.

Shakedown Street by The Grateful Dead

The Grateful Dead is known for dabbling in multiple genres, one of which being psychedelia.  I have long been neutral in my opinion of The Grateful Dead because I had never heard their songs...until now.

I recently downloaded two Grateful Dead songs with genres and sound impressively wide apart but still enjoyed - "Shakedown Street" and "Touch of Grey."  In this post, I am sharing "Shakedown Street" as a Saturday favorite.
