In short, sound engineer and music producer, Morten Lindberg, set a profound record of most nominations without a win - 26.  I cannot imagine how frustrating and perhaps devastating that may be.  

Diana Ross concluded the list with 12 nominations and no wins.  In the above post, her detailed list of honors outweighs the 12 nominations without a win.

Who is Pink?

Although my research about Alecia Beth Moore - a.k.a. Pink - proved brief, what I was able to find is interesting and worth sharing.

Pink has 8 studio albums and one compilation album.  She also has 3 live albums (Wikipedia).

As of 2012 -

Over 70 million singles sold worldwide

Pink has won 3 Grammy Awards and one BRIT Award.

Susan Lucci is an iconic actress best known for her role in the soap opera series, All My Children.  She is forever known as the most Daytime Emmy nominated actress without a win - 18 nominations until her single win in 1999.  (Wikipedia)

In the music industry, the same experience can be said.

The most Grammy nominations without a win belongs to Morten Lindberg, with 26 - making this a record.

My take away -

A win for an individual artist is honorable but perhaps a nomination among others within one or more categories is equally honorable as recognition has been given.  Recognition if only for a nomination is impressive in of itself.

Music Industry Standard in Hungary

The Hungarian Recording Industry Association was founded in 1992.  This music industry association presents the Hungarian Music Awards as well as maintaining music charts for the country.

Hungarian certification falls exceptionally far from United States certification standards.  This is ironic to say as the Hungarian Music Awards offer categories akin to the Grammy's and BRIT Awards (both of which come with high esteem of course).
