Muse

My mother introduced me to "Uprising" by Muse a few years ago and I was not entirely sold.  The beat felt very grunge in sound.  The lyrics felt profound.  The vocal felt intense in wanting the listener to hear the song.  With this said, though, one word out of the whole of the song stuck in my mind - victorious.  This changed my opinion on a dime.  I felt a sense of great hope masked behind the tone, the words, the voice.  Uprising and victory - personal, social, political causes.  Alas, this is my take on "Uprising."

Fast forward to the present and I feel that "Uprising" remains a relevant song.  Alas, this my opinion.
