Peter Frampton at the 2011 Ottawa Bluesfest.jpg

Peter Frampton is an English rock musician.

He is known for being a member of the 1960's supergroup, Humble Pie, as well as the Herd.  Peter Frampton is most noted for his solo career, especially with the live album, Frampton Comes Alive!Frampton Comes Alive! sold over 8 million copies in the U.S.  Hit singles include "Show Me the Way," "Baby, I Love Your Way," "Do You Feel Like We Do," and many more.

Point of interest -
Frampton is self taught on the guitar and piano.

Point of intrigue -
Frampton currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee and the September 11, 20o1 attacks were his reason for becoming a U.S. citizen with right to vote.

Peter Frampton's debut album as a solo artist was Wind of Change (1972), with guests Ringo Starr and Billy Preston.

Albums following include Frampton's Camel (1973) and Somethin's Happening (1974).

Peter Frampton's career to date has had profound success and little commercial success.  Every musician has critical acclaim and criticism.  Yet after research, I have never seen so many hit or misses.  Alas, this is my opinion.

My greatest take away is Frampton Comes Alive! and the most internationally recognized song from the album, "Do You Feel Like We Do."
