The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Class of 1991 No. 7

Ike & Tina Turner as a duo  began in the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s.  Although their marriage was heated and ultimately led to divorce, the musical history is worth reading.  Follow the link above.

As a duo, they were inducted into the St. Louis Classic Rock and Roll of Fame (2015).  Individual stars on the St. Louis Walk of Fame.

Tina received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  She was also inducted into the SoulMusic Hall of Fame and Memphis Music Hall of Fame.

Tina earned the Kennedy Center Honors in 2005.
 
Ike is inducted into many halls of fame - Blues Hall of Fame, Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame, and Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame.

Honors recognizing both Ike and Tina as well as individually is the best way to conclude this post and the Class of 1991.
