Set List Special Edition

International Women's Day

The 19th Amendment was passed and brought to the United States Constitution in the summer of 1920.

The 19th Amendment legally gave women the right to vote with suffrage fighting for this milestone.  This amendment changed the face of political  opinions via filling out and submitting ballots.  Women's voices are forever a force to be reckoned with.

In the 1920s, women voted, opted for bob length hair, and showed off their dance moves with the Charleston and short dresses.  Quite the dare to society generally dominated by men.

The 1920s were not without musical and societal culture highlights.  Consider, on Set List, one of the most iconic composers and songs of then to now -

"Rhapsody in Blue"
