Lead singer/Founding member of the heavy metal band, Black Sabbath
Point of interest - Ozzy was fired from Black Sabbath due to alcohol & drug addiction.
He has since produced 13 solo albums. The first seven achieved multi-platinum certification in the U.S.
Ozzy rejoined Black Sabbath in 1997. The band recorded their final album, 13 (released in 2013), followed by a farewell tour that ended in 2017 with a performance in Birmingham, England.
Ozzy, a family nickname, was greatly inspired by The Beatles.
