Background -
Postmodern Jukebox reminds me of Parov Stelar. Parov Stelar's ability to combine jazz, house, electronic, electro swing, and pop genres into one song and have them all make sense for listeners to appreciate and enjoy is phenomenal and I personally would say genius level. The same can be said of Scott Bradlee, his fundamental background, each unique performer, and combining historic pop culture with contemporary pop culture via cover and video to make sense...profound talent abounds.
Make sense...that's the key in the entertainment industry. In music, there is little margin of error when bringing together polar opposites into one cohesive sound and turn the song into commercial success.
Speechless and wanting more...Audience reaction justifying an artist once struggling and now shattering records.
Play it, Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox!
