The original Ghostbusters film was a success. Ghostbusters II as a sequel was said to have received negative reviews by critics but positive response from audiences. I will always prefer the sequel for personal reasons, one being "On Our Own" (by Bobby Brown) played at a peak time in the plot.
Ghostbusters II will always be a go-to choice for this spooky time of year.
