Do you remember Halloween when you were very young, such as just into elementary school?
What was your costume? What was your dream costume?
Did you trick or treat? Did you get favorite goodies? Did you get the "Halloween requisite" sugar high? Did you trade candy with friends?
Did your family decorate? If yes, did you go all out or stay low key?
Did you pick out pumpkins at a pumpkin patch to carve out for seeds or carve for decoration? If for decoration, a happy grin or goofy face or oh so scary?
When I was little, I wore costumes but my dream was always Cinderella. I was not allowed to trick or treat outside of my condo building but I did get favorite goodies. My family and I did not decorate but we always went to the local pumpkin patch to create a happy grin.
As an adult, I display lighthearted decorations, watch spooky (not scary) television programs, and candy is a must. My last costume was in the seventh grade. My last venture to a pumpkin patch was at the age of ten. I still pick out small selections from time to time.
Pumpkin patches. If a no for costumes, getting treats, or decorating, pumpkins are a bare minimum must even if you don't carve. Innocence of the October holiday starts with the pumpkin and grows from there.
So,
On this Tuesday where pumpkins are the special theme on Set List, enjoy the perfect visual for the holiday staple.
