"Highroller" is the eighth track out of nine on Weekend in Monaco. I find this to be a bold placement because "Highroller" is profoundly upbeat and blends a sense of groove and smooth jazz. In fact, if there were lyrics in "Highroller," you might forget the song really is in the smooth jazz genre.
Okay, a mix of entertainment mediums. Raise your hand if you are a fan of the television series, Seinfeld (of course now in syndication). As a fan, do you ever catch a very brief musical note before the opening of episodes later in the series? If you do, "Highroller" is reminiscent of that note near the end of the song - in the 4:00 minute range.
