Set List Recommended

In this edition of Set List Recommended, I am featuring two posts with one theme - The Spice Girls.

The first post - Versus Tuesday - compared Astronaut2005 Drummer's cover of "Wannabe" to the original version as performed by The Spice Girls in their official music video.  Follow the link above for the YouTube videos.

The second post, Spice Girls - Wannabe, was dedicated to the background of The Spice Girls, "Wannabe" as their debut single and impressive global certifications, Spice as their debut album, Spiceworld as their second album, and lastly Forever as their third and, I presume, final album.  Follow the link above for the full background.

The Spice Girls were intriguing in music, fashion style, and influence in primarily 1990's pop culture.

Where are they now?

Mel B has taken on more of a reality television presence than music.

Melanie C (Melanie Chisholm) has come into her own in the music industry.

Emma Bunton has continued her career in music.

Geri Halliwell has since gone on to continue her music career.

Victoria Beckham has since become a modern day fashion icon and designer.

And so if you find interest and intrigue, explore and enjoy my favorite recommendations.

As always,

Play it!
