Although not having noteworthy influences, Pharrell does have inspiration from Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and many others.
In 1992, Pharrell Williams & friend, Chad Hugo, formed the production team, the Neptunes.
Williams & Hugo formed the band, N.E.R.D., with musician Shay Haley in 1999.

At nearly 52 years of age, Pharrell Williams certainly has a young at heart demeanor with the aspects of the music industry he focuses on, his many fashion collaborations, noble business ventures, and (of interest) three of his four children being triplets. I can only imagine what his daily calendar looks like.
