As of the 1980s, Pink Floyd has become one of the highest-selling and most successful bands in music history.

When founders Syd Barrett and Roger Waters left, David Gilmour took over as leader with the releases of A Momentary Lapse of Reason (1987), The Division Bell (1994), and The Endless River (2014).

David Gilmour has released five solo albums -
