September 2025
Set List
In this month of September 2025, I dedicated Mondays to colorful fashion designs. As the theme winds down to a close, I thought I would cap Monday Fashion with a true (and personally favorite) all American fashion icon - Ralph Lauren...but with a twist.
Monday Fashion + Set List Music
In this final edition of featuring Elton John on Set List, I am highlighting Elton's most certified album across many regional sources.
On this last Wednesday in the month of September 2025, I am concluding the Luxe Jewels series with sparkling and bedazzling crystal designs that colorfully capture the eye.
Leaf etched design ... Natural hues
Although the Fall season has settled in, lingering warmth desires not to drift out.
Do you dream of spending one last moment of summer akin heat splashing in the pool or teasing ocean waves alongside the shoreline?
If so, the tropics happily welcome you with one universal regard - aloha a.k.a. hello.
In this entry, I am recalling colorful casual wear design perfect for lounging on white sand beaches or digging into soft sand while building creations with Hawaiian music playing in the background.
Aloha indeed.
Beach Day Part 1
Beach Day Part 2
On this first official day of Fall, I am concluding Fashion Sense on Set List.
In this month of September, every Monday highlighted color designs that sketched unique gowns reflective of occasion and time period. The images ranged from elegant Victorian era to whimsical royal garden soiree to antebellum Southern grand to breathtaking lavender bridal to the famous wow factor in shouts of orange.
In this fourth and final edition of Fashion Sense, I am featuring where design begins and showcases.
"Design Studio" is a reflection of apparel construction and design in the artist's work studio.
"On Display" is a reflection of designs on retail and boutique floors fresh from the runway and designer collections.
Products included - Notebook & Mug
With all said and as always,

On September 21, 1925, the world welcomed Henry Zander. The eldest of two by four years, he was a loved and cherished son and brother. As an adult, he honored his country in World War II. Thereafter, his sister once introduced him to who would become the love of his life. They married, had a son, had a granddaughter, and eventually spent their elder years in Arizona.
Oh the life my Uncle Hank led.
Today marks a milestone in my great-uncle's life - he would have been 100 years old today. Sadly, I cannot recall the year of his death. Yet when my grandmother passed in September 2021, she ascended to Heaven exactly one week before his 96th, so what the birthday blast they celebrated.
When the Zander family fully reunited in 2021, I can only imagine the joyous celebration.
So on Set List, as I honor a Zander birthday, what was the number one song in September 1925?
"If You Knew Susie (Like I Know Susie)" by Eddie Cantor
Happy Birthday, Uncle Hank
I only met you once but I will remember you always from stories passed down. You were an amazing son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. You are forever missed.
In this edition of featuring Elton John on Set List, I am highlighting Elton's number one ranked album across the board, especially in the UK & the U.S.
If you will recall my Belle of the Ball coloring book design...
...On April 29, 2011, the belle of the ball was Catherine Elizabeth Middleton. No longer would she wonder when someday her prince will come because on this historic day in modern day royalty, she married her Prince William. If ever there is a prime example of "belle of the ball," Princess Catherine is it. Whether Duchess of Cambridge or Princess of Wales, Kate is one of a kind to her fans and will always be a belle with every wedding anniversary.
On the day of the royal wedding, the number one song was "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO. Although the acronym is unfortunate, the song is perfect for the newlyweds celebrating the night away.
The choreography and lyrics in the video below really are fun and speak to, well, a party rock anthem! (By the way, the video has been viewed over 2 billion times and the royal wedding was watched worldwide. No pressure to be at her finest then!)
In this edition of color.me.style Luxe Jewels, I am highlighting bold statement pieces best worn by chic savvy fashionistas if in real life.
When the coloring book designs featured below came across on the Anima Color mobile app, the black & white outlines sketched an air of antique opulence and when colored in, they further offered a sense of jewelry passed down from generation to generation.
Whether chic savvy or delicate elegance, the notion of statement remains.
Brooch decorated in colorful gems & gold.
In this edition of color.me.style Footwear, I am offering a mix of digital design and cinematic history.
When I choose a design to color, the decision is a personal one. I always try to see beyond the initial black and white for what the picture will be when completed in color. In a sense, I look for designs that I know I will want to save to my photo library.
When I came across the shoe collection, my decision was immediate. I loved the designs as they were and after completion, I knew I not only wanted to save them but of course wanted to share them on color.me.style and on Set List.
This, then, brings me to my first choice - gorgeous and elegantly created red heels that shimmer in a shade of ruby...
...ruby slippers. You can guess where I am going with cinematic history.
To conclude,
Enjoy!
On September 14, 2021, the world said goodbye to my world - Dell to her family and friends & Grandma to me and my family.
Oh the life my Grandma led.
She lived through the Great Depression, World War II, Korea, the Civil Rights Movement, Vietnam, and every decade following.
She was a wife and a mother.
She was a dedicated worker and volunteer after she retired.
She was calmly outspoken yet fiercely loud in her later years.
She was a friend with open heart.
She had a sense of humor, even when she was unaware. She knew when to be serious when appropriately needed.
She was independent, even with many in her life.
She knew how to love. Her family and friends like family.
She knew how to care, even if she did not personally know.
She knew she was meant to be...
...Because I was meant to be too. Our worlds came together the day I was born and oh how my life has been since.
I am supremely lucky to have had my best friend, my soulmate, my grandma for 38 years. I was her kid and she was my grandma.
We laughed. We cried. We debated. We celebrated.
We were mentally and spiritually tied at the hip. She felt my mental pain during episodes and gently urged, "talk to Grandma, honey." I felt her physical symptoms every time she was ill.
She was my best critic. She knew what to correct and what to let me own. She watched me flourish. She watched me struggle. She saw me at my lowest. She fought to raise me up.
She declined, as age would. In the end, I saw her at her lowest yet somehow at her strongest. On a very physical level, she was a shell of someone I could not recognize. I never got to say goodbye...and that has long destroyed me in a sense I will never recover from. On a spiritual level, her life on Earth was complete but her permanent life in Heaven was just getting started. As with every independent soul ascending to a fresh start, so did she.
You never left me, Grandma. You have just left one large phone bill.
With that said,
You were brought into the world when "Love Me or Leave Me" was a hit.
You left the world when pop culture's next generation came to the fore.
I will...
Jag alskar dig, mor mor.
